It is also recommended that the woman drinks mineral water which is rich in magnesium. If necessary, the gynaecologist already prescribes appropriate tablets at the beginning of the pregnancy to prevent a lack of important minerals.

If a pregnant woman suffers from cramps in the heels during pregnancy, she should press her feet against the foot of her bed. If the bed does not have a foot, then she has to get up and only stand on the leg in which she has got the cramp.

Furthermore, women who suffer from cramping during pregnancy should always try to put up their legs when lying in bed or sitting in a chair. Massage treatments and alternating hot and cold showers can also be very helpful. It is also recommended that the woman who suffering from cramping during pregnancy should walk around a lot to avoid painful cramps.
