Early pregnancy signs

There are a lot of early pregnancy sings of which all pregnant women suffer to a different extent. Some women do not feel any early pregnancy sings at all, others feel extremely ill, especially in the first three pregnancy months. In the following, the most common early pregnancy sings are listed.

The clearest and most obvious pregnancy sign is the non-appearance of the monthly period. But the period might also not come due to other reasons, i.e. an organic illness or a lot of stress. On the other hand, it is also possible that women who are already pregnant have slight bleedings around the point of time of the period.

The growing and soreness of the breasts is also one of the early pregnancy sings. It is due to the start of the hormone production that the mammary glands already start to grow.

A lot of women suffer from nausea during early pregnancy. Some only feel slightly sick in the morning, others suffer from nausea during the whole day, others even have to throw up several times a day.

A lot of women also feel extremely tired, especially in the early pregnancy. Thus, tiredness might also be an indicator for pregnancy, but it may of course also have many other reasons.

Some women also experience a dragging pain the inguinal region which is due to the stretching and enlarging of the ligaments which hold the uterus.

Mood swings are another typical early pregnancy sign which is due to the hormone changes which are similar to those women experience during the monthly cycle.

Either an enormous appetite or a total aversion against some type of food, e.g. coffee, are further early pregnancy sings.
