The non-appearance of the period, which is due to the non-decrease of the progesterone level after the fertilization of the egg-cell.
Sore and growing breasts which result from the growing of the mammary glands due to the hormone production.
Nausea from which women suffer differently. Some women only feel sick in the morning, others feel sick during the whole day and some women also have to throw up several times during the day.
Tiredness which also is a very common symptom of early pregnancy.
Pregnancy tests prove the existence of beta HGC (beta human chorionic gonadotrophin) either in the blood or the urine. The hormone causes the further production of oestrogens and gestagens in the ovary.
If the woman is not pregnant, the uterus membrane is pushed off and the monthly period begins.
If a woman is pregnant, the hormone can already be detected six to eight days after the fertilization. This means that only 2 days have passed since the embedding of the egg cell into the uterus. The blood tests normally already supply a reliable result two days before the expected appearance of the period.
