Top tips to look after
your health while you are pregnant:
1.
Ginger against nausea:
Don't use it if you have high blood pressure. But ginger is a great
remedy against nausea in pregnancy. Eat little and often to keep
a good level of sugar in blood. |

Heartburn? Take dill and milk.
Using dill in your meals with help you control the heartburn through
pregnancy. Milk is also very good to help you neutralize the excess
of stomach acid. Drink a glass of milk every night before going
to bed. |
3.
Acupuncture during pregnancy to increase energy:
Your body works a lot when you are pregnant so you feel tired. Acupuncture
can help with the tiredness and also with nausea. |
4.
Oils to help the blood circulation:
Give yourself leg massages with geranio oils, or any other specific
oils for the legs to help the circulation. (Don't use geranio oil
the last two weeks of pregnancy if you are taking anticoagulants) |
5.
Hemorrhoids relief in pregnancy:
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anal area. Avoid constipation,
it doesn't help. A natural relief is to take a clean cloth and dampen
it in an hazelnut herbal infusion and apply to the affected area. |
6.
Urine infections: Drink tea.
Does it hurt when you pee? Add a special essence oil anti-infections
to the water to wash yourself. You are pregnant so visit your doctor
and check. |
7.
yogurt for the fungus:
It's normal to have an increase of vaginal secretions during pregnancy.
But if the vaginal fluids are thick, smell bad and cause itchiness
you might have fungus. Take a lot of natural yogurt that helps to
reduce the acid in the vagina. |
8.
Salt and pregnancy:
Are you retaining liquids?
Stop eating salt and eat more onions, garlic and parsley to help eliminate
the excess liquids. Swollen feet and hands could be an indication
of pre-eclampsia. Check with the doctor. |
9.
Help to sleep better:
A camomile infusion or a glass of warm milk and honey after a hot
bath with 4 or 5 drops of lavender oil (Not during the first trimester)
will help you sleep during pregnancy. Avoid natural remedies with
"pasiflora", not recommended during pregnancy. |
10.
Vitamins to avoid colds:
Prevention is the best way to cure colds and catarrh, so try to take
enough Vitamin C. You can easy find it in kiwis, strawberries, peppers,
potatoes, oranges...
The hormonal and blood volume changes might make you congested. Give
yourself a massage in the head and in the hair. |
