16. Using hair color during pregnancy:
Hair products are not dangerous during pregnancy, but it's true that the
hair texture changes and reacts differently to hair treatments. So, before
you are about to dye your hair try in a little bit before. The smell of
hair colours, dyes and another hair products smell strong causing nausea,
so we recommend vegetable dyes or henna.
17. Ultrasound during pregnancy:
Studies done on ultrasounds and ecographies could be related to the fact
that the mothers that had them had left handed baby's. This is not being
investigated. The experts opinion is that it is completely safe during
pregnancy. If you are worried about ultrasound tests, talk to your gynecologist.
But remember that the ultrasound gives very important information about
the baby's development.
18. Vitamin A during pregnancy:
Excess of Vitamin A (or retinol) can cause fetal defects. So don't eat
any food rich in Vitamin A during pregnancy, like liver or liver pates.
Also you should try to avoid meat, vegetable and fish pates during pregnancy.
19. X Ray during pregnancy:
X Ray of the abdomen could cause serious congenital defects in the baby,
but the risks are well known so no professional would do an X-Ray on a
pregnant woman. If in your daily job you are exposed to this type of Ray
during pregnancy, change jobs immediately. The dental X Rays are safe,
but is also recomendable to tell the dentists you are expecting a baby
because some material used by dentists like almagama contain mercury,

20. Yoga in pregnancy:
Even though practicing yoga is beneficial during pregnancy, after week
20 some postures are not very practical.
Pay attention to your ligaments, which are extra sensitive during pregnancy
because of the hormones. Look for special pregnant yoga classes or talk
to the yoga instructor and ask for the positions you shouldn't attempt.
21. High heel shoes during pregnancy:
Using high heel shoes during pregnancy is dangerous, so do not wear them.
Instead of that use a 1 cm high shoes. They will help you feeling taller
without hurting your back.
