In some women the
signs of pregnancy are obvious, like morning sickness and nausea.
But in many cases, this symptoms don't appear until week 3 to 5 if it
at all.
The hormonal changes
start gradually so is not easy to detect some early signs of pregnancy.
As soon as the egg is fertilized it start traveling down the fallopian
tubes until it is in the uterus and attaches itself. That moment is crucial.
If the egg attaches properly the body produces the hormone that will stop
the menstruation, otherwise it won't. At this stage early signs of pregnancy
are difficult to find in most women.
The best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test and make sure it's positive.
The sooner the woman know, the better, so she can start taking folic acid
(very recommendable to help the bone development in the baby). And also
check with the doctor to make sure everything is all right.
Another early sign
of pregnancy is the tiredness. Most women suffer tiredness in the first
trimester because of the hormone revolution.
Breast grows a bit because of the hormones as well, another early sign
of pregnancy.
Feeling tired and grumpy is also considered a popular sign of pregnancy.
Sometimes it happens that the pregnant woman has an increased appetite
as an early sign of pregnancy, or the complete opposite, not being able
to face certain types of food with sickness and nausea.
Another not that common
early sign of pregnancy is the skin problems, produced as well because
of the enormous amount of hormones.
